Prevent costly unexpected auto repairs with regular preventive maintenance.

Automatic Transmission Service

Your automatic transmission deserves the same care and attention as your engine. The transmission fluid lubricates, cools, and cleans internal components of the transmission. It also helps to maintain the hydraulic pressure necessary for the transmission to function properly.

The additives in the transmission fluid can get depleted over time. Normal wear from gears grinding causes metal shavings and high heat which creates debris and deposits. With improper maintenance, metal, debris, and deposits build up causing the fluid to overload, which may result in a transmission failure.

Regular replacement of the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) and filter helps prevent:

  • Rough shifting
  • Accelerated wear
  • Premature transmission failure

Most vehicle manufacturers recommend service every 25,000 to 50,000 miles.

Manual Transmission Service

Manual transmission fluid provides lubrication to gears, bearing, shafts, and other internal components. Heat, pressure, and friction can slowly breakdown the additives in the manual transmission fluid. In addition, small particles of metal may come off the gears as they wear and these metal particles can mix with the fluid.

The fluid can also become contaminated with water. This is why it is important to keep the fluid changed at the proper interval. We recommend manual transmission service every 50,000 miles.

Our manual transmission service includes:

  • Evacuating the old manual transmission fluid
  • Filling the manual transmission fluid with the manufacturer’s recommended type and quantity of new fluid

Differential Service

We recommend changing the differential gear oil every 50,000 miles.

Transfer Case Service

Transfer cases are found on four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive vehicles. This gearbox divides the transmission power output between the front and rear differential.

Most transfer cases allow the front wheels to be disengaged and spin freely during normal driving conditions. Heat, pressure, and friction slowly breakdown the additives in the transfer case fluid.

Our service includes:

  • Draining the old transfer case fluid
  • Filling the transfer case with new manufacturer recommended fluid

We recommend this service every 50,000 miles.

Cooling System Service

The main functions of the Engine Cooling System are to carry heat away from the engine and maintain the correct operating temperature. The system accomplishes this by circulating antifreeze/coolant around the components where heat is generated and carrying it to the radiator to be cooled.

Our Engine Cooling System Service helps prevent rust and corrosion build up in the cooling system resulting in overheating and other costly engine problems.

Our service includes:

  • Visually checking the radiator and radiator hoses for leaks
  • Exchanging the old antifreeze / coolant in the radiator, hoses, and engine block with new warranty approved antifreeze / coolant
  • Evacuating the old antifreeze / coolant in the overflow reservoir and refilling it with new warranty approved antifreeze / coolant

We recommend this service every 50,000 miles for green coolant and every 5 years / 150,000 miles for extended life coolant.

Fuel Filter Service

The fuel from the fuel tank is typically pumped from a pump inside the fuel tank to the engine. In the line between the fuel tank and the engine, a fuel filter is typically present to help protect the fuel system.

As a fuel filter slowly becomes clogged, the restricted fuel flow could lead to poor acceleration, reduced engine performance, fuel pump failure, as well as, other issues. Most vehicle manufacturers recommend changing the fuel filter ever 30,000 miles on gasoline vehicles and every 15,000 miles on diesel vehicles.

Our service includes:

  • Remove the old fuel filter
  • Installing a new fuel filter that meets or exceeds the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty requirements

We highly recommend this service to avoid possible Costly Fuel System repairs.
